Whats is going with Aicon 64 thread?
5 pages with bulling about Aicon brand?

I would like to know if anyone have done a sea trial with an Aicon 64 or this is just the boat that your wife admire when it arrived at the marina that you are mooring?

mapism was the only one that just entered in some aicon 56 and he didnt like some things that I have seen the same at princess fairline azimut etc. Have you really tried it for a sea trial? Because if you don't like some pipes or something that you can change it isn't big reason to don't like Aicon 56. You know that this boat is the best layout boat at this size. I don't believe that you found boat with better layout than Aicon 56.

    And what about Aicon 64?
Who sea trialed this boat and it was so bad?
    - Electrical problems? What problems??
    - It isn't good at traveling? Worse than which boat?
    - Structure problem? What exactly ?? Tell us the problem?

Problems that had a friend of me owner 64 a lot of years with 2100 hours charter use

    - AC fan inlet at master cabin wasnt designed to feed air from the bedroom but from the area near the black tank... So master cabin had a strange smell of closure. Of course they modified it.
Ok bad idea but I have seen a lot of bad ideas at the popular brands.

    - Aicon 64 windscreen glasses are starting to make an internal moisture that you cannot do something.. Just to replace the glasses. They have very bad design windscreens shapes and they don't have right fit with the boat fiberglass. That's why the used a lot of putty to fit them but again without success. So one day Aicon 64 have leakage from there and the water is going directly at the central electrical panel of the boat. You can imagine the result. Also they are creating internal moisture at the windscreen.
Tell me one brand that they don't have leakage from the windscreen!!!
Ok this issue of Aicon is very serious because it need to replace the windscreen and it cost a lot. He will change them now with a cost around 7000euro.

    - Electrical windows left and right they don't work good and he did them fixed.
Most boats with electrical windows have the same problem.

    - Side door of this boat is electrical. It still works but it doesn't lock when it closed. Something that he believe he can fix it easy soon.

    And now my review
    - As about noise insulation..
I checked with very good levels with generator enabled.

    - As about gelcoat..
Perfect condition after 15 years old.

    - As about electrial touch panels and touch switches.
They looks amazing and still they work without problem. As I ask him all this touch panels are just switches. The fuses are normal fuses in other place.

    - As about electrical access
The console of the inside cockpit is lift up and you can have easy access in everything. Also it has at master cabin a huge cabinet to have access in everything electrical.

    - As about layout and material quality.
Of course this boat a woman will like it more than any other. Very nice woods. Very nice layout. Bathrooms quality that I have never seen. Spaces everywhere. Amazing master cabin and vip cabin. Unbelievable nice crew cabin and access with stern door. Leathers at roods and walls everything original with perfect quality. All other brands walls and roofs are falling down like they are made from paper. Very good access to the engine room, quite space for any fix. Very use full left and right steps at stern. Nice quality saloon door.

I haven't done sea trial. When I will do I can have you a review.

But really is there anyone of all of you that you are writing bad things for Aicon boats that you have traveled with them??? 5 pages with useless posts. No one told commented something interesting.

I am here to read some REAL comments from people that they have REAL EXPERIENCE from aicon boats.
This wasn't a conversation to exchange opinions. It was a gossip topic with rumors about bad quality without anyone to say something specific.

Finally Ocean Day what have you done with the Aicon 64? Have you bought it? Tell us your experience.

So are you and Ocean Day pals or both trying to market Aicon? You're not here for honest opinions any more than he was, just here to try to pump up Aicon and you'll fail miserably like he did. Capt J, Mapism, Yachtforums, and Affrayed Knot gave information. As to an owner, there are none here. Everyone too smart, I guess. Others pointed out problems with the specific boat being discussed. Why don't you and Ocean Day go set up an Aicon forum somewhere and try to sell whatever you're selling from there. When someone like you just comes in and blasts another thread because they didn't like the posts about Aicon, you're as suspicious as Ocean Day, likely you are him, but doesn't matter.

I've never been on an Aicon but feeling worse about them with every post made here trying to puff them up and attacking any negative posts.

Just for the records, while I can't be positive about that, I don't think it's actually the case.
It looks like the OP is the same chap that already started a few threads on another boat forum.
In this respect, fair play to him for at least keeping the same username and location.

Anyway, he came across as somewhat enthusiastic, asking suggestions about several boats that he said he was considering, anywhere from a Cranchi 40 to a Ferretti 72, with many more others in between than I can even remember.
Both myself and other users tried to give some support/suggestions at first, but on one hand he never seemed really interested to listen, and OTOH I had the distinct impression that he rather likes better to post about boats in forums, rather than actually do any boating.
For these reasons, I eventually gave up - and I'm not trying again here, that's for sure.

I am from Greece and I don't know any oceanday... I am now writing here even if I registered before years. I am writing at YBW and there my username is hkikis.
Why I am writing about Aicon? Because I am thinking to buy one and I am trying to check why the Aicon are "so bad" boats.
J Lo many people say that is an escort call girl... but is it real? Or gossip like the quality about Aicon.

    Again gossip posts....
olderboater please if you know something about aicon tell us.... don't post irrelevant... There are other "gossip" topics to talk.
mapism I will ask you something.... Have you ever done 1 mile travel with an Aicon or not?
Tell us exactly what are the irreparable problems that you found when you check an aicon boat? And which boat have you chosen instead Aicon 56?

After 5 pages of gossip chat I was the first that I wrote some real problems of Aicon boats but these problems aren't irreparable.
I am still waiting about REAL EXPERIENCE comments. Please no more gossip.

Also do you know how much expensive are still the Aicon boats?
Aicon 64 at yachtworld are starting from 480k with vat paid!!!!! (if we don't count the boat that I would like to buy that is cheaper)
Why theese boats are selling so expensive if they are so crap?
If something is crap the price is very very cheap.
Aicon 64 is more expensive than a Sunseeker manhtann 64!!
Or it is the same expensive like Azimut 68!!

So can anyone prove me that Aicon are crap boats to avoid to buy it?
Or finally the aicon are as crap as J Lo escort?

No one can prove anything to you. No one can convince you against your will. However, my issue with your post was based on the attitude you came in with for your first post. There were some useful posts in the other thread and yet you rip it entirely apart and dismiss it's entirety. You seem here to argue rather than be informed and just don't like the opinions expressed. That is all this forum is, opinions. No one can prove things. People offer opinions. There were several knowledgeable opinions offered in the other thread. I doubt seriously in the brief time since then that any other members have suddenly gained information. I just know that I personally would listen to the opinions and observations from the other thread.

Forums are usefull if you provide correct knowledge.. Forums aren't for rumors and gossip.

So finally a lot of negative comments without anyone that ever sea trialed to an Aicon boat.. mapis only entered some times and he didn't like some pipes...

So the conclusion is that Aicon are bad boats and J Lo is an escort girl...
