I was set on the 50 post being our next boat due to the value and the fact that we love the unpretentious practicality of posts. It is also familiar to us -...
Seeking some opinions…Let me explain. We bought our 58 Viking EB about 2 years ago when living in the DC area and boating the Chesapeake Bay and mid Atlantic coastal area. The enclosed bridge made it a year round, all weather boat for our family of 4 including 2 teenage girls. And it almost doubled the living space on the boat. With the tower, i still had a gorgeous perch to run and dock the boat...
Have been a charter captain for half of my live and fished on several boats, recently fished on this 50 footer in a tournament and I was a bit blown away with the amount of propwash or whitewater from the props, I mean It would go past the outriggers and this is trolling at almost idle, so this started me asking questions on what could be the cause for this ? number of blades on propellers ? high gear...
