My boat wont go in gear, its electronic shifting it's in a 2009 Luhrs
I changed the solenoid on top of the transmision and I only have reverse when I switch the wires around I have forward when I put the stick in reverse position
Is there something I need to program
The solenoid I replace got wet when my live well was leaking and I cant get it to go in gear throttle ect
If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it

What controls do you have? Smart Crap, Teleflex or Mathers (before or after ZF)?

I am trying to find what brand controls they are. I had to take a picture of the solenoid and bring it to the marine part supply store as I couldn't even find a name on that. I am having trouble finding the brand I have all the paperwork from when the boat was new but still looking. I was looking at the controls last week and there was no name on it

When you ask before or after ZF what does that mean.

And thank you so much for responding I will keep looking

Send pictures of the control head.
If there is a box in the engine room, send that also.
Ensure they are less than 640 pixels wide as per your new member agreement.
PM (private mail) me if you can't get the picture size down.
Mathers was purchased by ZF corp. The product went thru some changes after the purchase.
    I'm assuming Yanmar engines also.
    Need clutch model also.

Probably glenndenning controls as I run a 2006 luhrs that has those. Take a picture and post it here. Chances are it's the control head, but you most likely need to get a tech out who can properly diagnose it.
