    "What's that white and blue thing up there?" Most yachtsmen today have no concept of what a meal/absent light is.

    Blue owner absent light & white mealtime light
    Replaces blue and white flags for use at night
    For mounting on main starboard yardarm

    Being a curious and inquisitive type, I found the following.
    Our Yacht chartering type members may want to make these part of their cutlery when hosting Asian guests.

    As in the West, silver is associated with formal dining, making silver chopsticks a speciality item which may be brought out on special occasions and for special guests.

    Historically, silver chopsticks were used in some parts of China out of fear of poison. According to popular belief, silver chopsticks would rapidly tarnish in the presence of poison, so someone who feared poisoning would carry silver chopsticks as a form of poison detection. Royalty ate from silver for this reason as well

    Not worried about being poisoned, wife still loves me;)
    Just wanted to know what silver service was because alot of stews put it on there CVs
    I am a family style person, with four older brother you had to hurry and serve yourself or you would miss out and go hungry.
