I have a 1999 58' Sonship. We upgraded the Wesmar stabilizers to the latest configuration. We are having an issue that causes the bow thruster to lose power if the stabilizers are engaged. Does anyone have a hydraulics schematic of the hydraulic system. The only hydraulics info we have is the blue print that shows the runs of the hydraulic lines. This system is probably the same on all size West Bay's.

Is it possible that the hydraulic system is not designed to supply both the thruster and stab at the same time? Trying to figure out why you d want to use the thruster while the stabs are on.

Not familiar with the wesmar but with Trac I always center the fins once inside the marina so they remain centered while maneuvering.

What pascal said, stabilizers should be centered when maneuvering as well as in shallow water.
