1999 54 Neptunus express with new (2002) Cat's 3196 I am considering buying a 1999 Neptunus with new 3196 cat's installed in 2002 with 450 hours and am concerned about all negative I have heard about the 3196 Cat's. Any advice? Vern
3196's If you can get the serial numbers of the engines you can check with Cat the service records. if they haven't had any problems since 2002..I would say they are solid at this point. it was mainly the aftercoolers with the 3196's and Cat was very good about stepping up and taking care of the problems in my experiance. hope that helps
