    Wet Dream?

Wondering if this is another wet dream as was the production of all the Shipworks vessels, complete with expensive renderings and hype? Then the only vessel that came from the yard was "Shipworks One" (and only). Seems this yard is good at promoting scotch mist - wonder how they ever make a return? Well if it happens she will be a beaut - but as per one of the owners discussions with me one day at Monaco aboard Renegade after they had announced their purchase of Warren Yachts - " we have decided to go into fiberglass production as it is easier that metal - all you have to do is 'Pour a mold'" - Yikes! Seems as if it takes as long to "pour a mold" than to weld a boat - will keep looking!

    Update

The first Warren S-120 foot Express yacht is well underway in the construction process. Ever since Warren had announced the existence of the design, a fair amount of enthusiasm has been generated. Well, this sports beauty is to be launched around August 2008.

    Shipworks / Warren Sold?

Rumour has it that Shipworks / Warren has been sold by Messrs Roth and Herman to one David Price who is going to soon be making an International visit to Brokers, accompanied by his internationally acclaimed super salesman to make the announcement official.

Anyone know a bit more about this? A search of the Australian Share registry shows about 43 million shares vlaued at $1 each being moved offshore to a tax free registry?

Wonder if Australian Stamp duty has been paid as if this is true then there is a material change of ownership and the stamp duty on 43 million could be quite large?

We find it strange that a CEO who knows that the yard is costing money would be prepared to buy it?

The share transfers and movements seemed to be around June 2008 - now August and still no official word?

The name of the Warren 120 Express is apparently "Ghost II". Has anyone spotted this yacht anywhere?
