Saw this video posted on another site of what looks like a newer model viking sporty coming into Atlantic City inlet taking on water.

Action starts at 20 second mark, I have attached some screenshots

Looks like they managed to gert her alongside the CG station and save her.

Good job to vessel Master and crew and all rescue personell involved.

That dink must be heavy! Kidding aside, to be bow down would indicate a forward breach of the hull. Maybe hit a container? It's times like these that I'd rather have a solid glass bottom but it could happen to either laminate.

They hit a removed light tower or the base of it. It's going to be a total loss regardless of being saved given how much water she took on.

Glad the boat made it back in alright. I wonder if the fwd engine room bulkhead is water tight on the newer vikings. the equipment in the forward bilges would be lost, and the interior soft goods and woodwork would be done. If the engine room stayed dry the engines and gens and other equipment there would be ok.

Made it back to the USCG dock with more pumps. Hopefully a brave diver with lots of towels, pillows and expanding foam.
