    Hi All,

I'm putting the finishing touches on our new Yacht Designers List. I'm looking for URL's on the following...

    Don Shead
    Don Starkey
    Ed Monk
Espen Oeino (when I met him at FLIBS, he said he didn't have a website)
    Evan K. Marshall
    Tim Heywood
    Zuccon International
    Kusch Yacht Agentur
    Gino Gandino

It's interesting to note that these designers, a few of the industry's most accomplished, may not have websites? If you happen to know URL's on the above, I would like to include them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Carl

I didn't have any luck with those either Carl. A couple more designers of interest are Pieter Beeldsnijder (Netherlands?) and Francesco Paszkowski (Italy?). Couldn't find websites for them either.

    Thanks Kelly!

I've got Pieter Beeldsnijder on the list. I've been working on this for a few weeks. Decided to take the weekend to finish it up. I think it's fairly complete, but these things are always a work in progress.

I think everyone will enjoy this. I certainly have. It's been interesting to tour some of these sites, but I think we may have the very best already...

    Lars! :)

I just did a count on the number of yacht designers I've compiled... over 150. I'm sure there's a few more, but this is a good start. I'll set the list up alphabetically, so you can scan down and click on any link without having to go to a new window. I really think everyone will enjoy this. :)

    Agreed, Lars rocks!

I'm very impressed with some of the sport yachts that Paszkowski has done for Baglietto. Dunno what his status is for projects outside of Baglietto though. For that matter, I've hardly been able to dig up anything on him.

    Thanks Arnie!

I should have mentioned... I have the addresses.

It's the URL's that have been tough to track down. I even tried other search engines, besides Google. BTW... I'll never ask at "ask.com" again!

    Google rules!

The only physical address I'm currently missing is for Francesco Paszkowski.

Potential Client: Perhaps you have a website I can peruse? I may have seen your work...
    Espen: Have you seen Octopus?

    LOL!

Humor is greatly appreciated. It's been a long day! Espen wasn't kidding... not much of a website presence. But, he's in good company... all the great designers have a simple, one-page presence. Case in point...

When you have a list of yachts on your resume that inludes what is probably the worlds single most recognized yacht (albeit usually matched to the wrong owner), having a website full of pics seems a little superfluous. ;)

I don't know about a website of Kusch Yacht Agentur. But Claus Kusch had owned the Peterswerft in Wewelsfleth (I think now it's his widow).

Thanks Kelly. And thanks to everyone for their help.

On smilies...I have a collection of them, but they are generic. I was planning to make custom smilies that were nautical in nature. My only reservation about doing this is because emoticons sometimes "clutter-up" a site.

As soon as I can find a little free time, I'll work on them. But first, I've got to finalize the Members Rewards program and then get busy on next month's feature reviews.

Not enough time in the day...

    Hi, Carl.
    The List is awesome.
You can expect YF to be deluged with more hits because of it.
    Great Job!
