Builder and Model of this "new" classic.....
It is a Dettling 51
Built on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
Design by C. Raymond Hunt and Assocates of Boston, MA
She should be a 51 footer and if I do not recall the name wrongly should be Deitling, if spelling is not wrong.
Dettling is correct. Built just a few miles from my home in Md. They are beautiful yachts and are indeed Classics.
Thanks Seaeric, however while i was trying to remember the correct name Captpkilbride moved faster. So, it should be his turn.
Regrettably I have no ideas for what to post at the moment, so I pass on this round and say anyone can post the next one.
So, then it is fair for me to take the chance; what is the name, and who is the builder and designer of this expedition style yacht?
She is Caressa K built by RMK and designed by Dick Boon of Vripack
castlerock it is your turn, you are spot on.
Name this classic yacht and her builder:
She looks to me like "Enticer" a Mathis build.
Your turn Eric.
Keeping with the Classics
Yacht name and builder of this restored beauty.
She is "Belle" built in 1929 by NY Yacht Launch & Engine
Indeed she is. You're up.
Name this classic plus her original name and owner:
My first try...
Now named Avante, I believe this 116 Feadship was originally Christened "Highlander" in 1967 and was owned by the famous Yachtsman, Malcolm Forbes. She suffered a serious fire years ago and was rebuilt in Merrill Stevens.
You are correct, and welcome aboard!!
Your turn Sean.
Wow. Lets see...
Although it's hard to see this classics original beauty, she was at one time a real head turner. How about a name, the builder and maybe a year.
She is the 1929 Trumpy "High Spirits"
