I have a 1993 380 Tournimate with the 6-71 Detroit. I am was looking for a tag on the transmission to know what type is installed. Could not find anything.

Bought this boat back in Nov. and now trying to change all the oils & Filters. Does anyone know what transmission is on this boat and/or what Oil should be used? Looks like regular engine oil.

Also is there a secondary fuel filter on the motors?

Can’t tell from the pic. Most gears use straight 40 engine oil.

most Detroits also use straight 40 and yes there should be secondary fuel filter on the engine. Follow the hose from the racor.

    Twin Disk clutches.
Use the same CF-2 oil as in the engines.
    Check in neutral at idle.
Change every other year or every 1000 hours, witch-ever comes first.
