The good, the bad, the ugly.

The boss is looking at moving up. And the boat he is looking at has them in it. I'm interested in any ones experience with them.

It's a long story but while the components of the system would be several years old at this point, they would be unused and under warranty.

I've heard Trac had issues with pumps and such, true? Have they fixed those issues on the newer systems?

Also I was wondering about the noise the fins make as they move. Both the noise the hydraulics may make and the fins themselves as the move through the water at anchor.

    Any insight would be appreciated.

I've only run a few boats with them and they seem to work well at stabilize the vessel. I also have not heard them when they are running, even at anchor.

However on the few boats I've run with them, one of them was less then 2 years old. They had a lot of issues with various sensors and such.
