Has anyone put fin stabalizers on a Bertram Motor Yacht 58 with an extended 10 ft cockpit ?

I am considering putting Wesmar or Naiad stabalizers and I am interested in any feedback/guidance.

How has your research been? Installed? How did it turn out?

We have not put them in as yet. One of my friends has the sister ship to mine and he has put them in and we are just waiting for the hydraulics to be hooked up to take it on a test run. I am scheduled to install mine after Easter.

We will let you know how she runs !

I would love to hear more. We have a 58 also and dream of finding a set of stabalizers for her.
Could you please share some notes, pictures and thoughts on mfg, size and placment from your sister ship and yours?

No problem. We are in fort lauderdale returning to Trinidad on Tuesday.

We are both using Wesmar fins and soon as we get back home we will send you pictures and specs.

I would love your thoughts on Wesmar system vs Naiad or others. I have never been around Wesmar systems.

    Thx, Ralph
