Must say that Weta also looks a bit forlorn as it is currently berthed immediately adjacent to Mayan Queen (ex-Project Safari), Athena and Vertigo at Auckland's Westhaven Basin.

Compare 3 very shiny mega/superyachts with handsome crews decked out in their no.1's with an unfinished/unfaired/unloved vessel with a few hairy builders in overalls doing their thing.....

The only identification apparent on the vessel is its international registry number emblazened on the stern. Lot of work to be done before we can read the chosen name on the bullwarks I reckon. Gin and Tonic seems a bit naf to me?

There are quite a few other large yachts in port - not sure whether the attraction is the Rugby World Cup/Pacific cruising or many are here for refits. The international refit business seems to be burgeoning somewhat in NZ according to the industry body's media releases.

    Any updates regarding Weta?
