    The cleat to the forehead was an easy tow of an old Chris.
    It was a dock line that pulled the cleat from the alloy boat.

    Yes, trying to drag a submerged hull will for sure pull some cleats. No comments on, but I hope nobody got hurt when those cleats (thread topic) came loose.

    We used low stretch tow lines mostly. The average fish boat, even for charter would probably have all nylon (rubber band) lines to use.
