Sensational New Yacht From Down Under...

Sensation Yachts is pleased to annouce the launch of "Maratani X". At 147ft long, ‘Maratani X’ is New Zealands largest fully customised, composite motor yacht to be built and it was launched from Sensations Auckland facility Tuesday, June 7th 2005.

This luxury Quad-deck motor yacht features a design with attention paid to entertaining areas . Finished in Cherry, burls, fine fabrics and marbles, "Maratani X" has four guest cabins with bath ensuites on the lower deck and a luxurious guest stateroom forward on the main deck features its own office. The elegant owner’s stateroom covers the majority of the upper deck. Situated behind the pilothouse and Captain’s cabin, featuring two adjoining marble ensuites and lounge area facing aft to a private open deck.

Entertaining includes a separate twelve-person theatre, a formal dining room for twelve and a lounge and bar facing aft on the main deck situated in the main salon. A personal elevator will transport guests to the upper decks. The sun deck will feature an enclosed lounge opening onto the aft deck area and the forward area includes a variety of sunbeds and a Jacuzzi. "Maratani X" is expected to complete her sea trials and commissioning schedule by mid July and will be based in Aucklands Viaduct during this period.

Sensation Yachts have fast become a world leader in the use of composite technology and are currently producing semi custom vessels from its west Auckland facility using a newly developed modular build process. This process has led to the world’s largest resin-infused hull over 150ft long being successfully produced. Sensation has multiple orders for vessels over 155ft in the composite series and plans to further develop composites and its unique build processes. The first of these new series and technologically advanced vessels will be launched early 2006. Future build slots are still available.
