hello i tried to find some information about this Austrian yacht in YF, with no luck. can sombody tell me if there is some information in YF? can somebody can comment on that yacht? thanks
I've not seen any infromation on such small sailboats on YF. Regarding the Sunbeam fleet: they are regarded as high quality boats, superior to Bavaria, Beneteau ... You find a lot of information in the article of yacht dot de where they compared them to similar boats. On Austrian lakes you see many of them, also quite old ones, which speaks in favor of their quality. They also keep their value quite good. I was onboard some of their boats and the difference in quality of build is striking, even compared to Beneteau Sense and other mass marked "high end" lines.
I can say to a Sunbeam 22 built in the 60's (That one was in our family): It was a good one. Not much repair needed, fast and secure. We sailed it on the German north sea. That's what I can tell. Don't know which infos exactly are you looking for.
To all who answered my request. First, a big thank you for the response. Second, for the last year I am trying to buy a Sunbeam 42DS. During my searches I got in touch with Schöchl Yachtbau, and I have all the information from them. What I am looking for is people's experience, owner's point of view etc. Any such information will be highly welcomed and appreciated
