Did you purchase the 57’ Roamer listed at Harbor Town in Tennessee?
No, it had too many issues. We are looking at a 58
Hatteras that just came up for sale
Thanks for asking
Did you have a survey done?
Yes, with all the issues we were looking at possibly quite a bit of money.
The owner was unwilling to negotiate as he has spent a lot on her already.
From looking at the pictures, my guess is the GM diesels were the originals and needed some work?
They were scored, some rust spotted, the gen had low compression, the toilets didn't function, the windlass shorted out, the deck leaked...
The boat looks fabulous from a cosmetic point of view, but we were not looking for a show boat.
I am sorry to hear that but wasn’t surprised. Thanks for sharing this info with me.
It was very disappointing as we were really interested, and the owner has put a lot of time and effort into it.
Unfortunately I believe the owner may have paid too much when he purchased it.
I'm a newbie here but wondered if anyone had any information on the 1971-72 Roamer that is located up in Montreal? I believe it is the following one from the list: 1972 FDMY RMP-68-50* """Alaskan Beauty""" NFI Lengthend to 72' Now a yachtfisher. 12V71s. any background and info would be appreciated.
Sorry I have no info on that boat.
