   I'm back a year later looking at a Riveria 43 from 1997. We just did sea trials on another one which didn't pass because of engine failure. This one has Cat 3176C's with under 2000 hrs. I'm curious if anyone has an opinion on the Riviera brand in general and then any feedback on the motors. Thanks.

   I don't have much time on the C10,C12 or 3176 family of Cats.
   From the response, looks like the YF heavy Cat guys are off for the weekend.
   
   In the mean time, schedule some time with your local Cat shop.
   Your going to be best friends soon so ask them questions now.
   Bring coffee and doughnuts and ask them about the 3176.
