JFA Launches 90-foot Motor-Sailer​

The Shipyard JFA has launched a motor sailer of 90'. The naval architects are Joubert - Nivelt - Goeffers and the designer is Dick Young Designs. The hull reminds us of a Motor Yacht but it is a sailing boat, Lloyd’s register and MCA compliant, fitted with 2 carbon masts.

This mixed boat will arrange a roomy inside layout area for a sailing boat of this size. On the upper deck in the fore part, there is a salon fitted in the inside wheelhouse which would be large and luminous thanks to the large picture windows. The aft part is fitted with a dining room with a bar/kitchenette.

On the lower deck, the crew has its cabin and a professional galley. The owner's cabin is located on the same deck but in the center of the boat, using the complete beam. It is a cabin that can look out over the sea thanks to large portholes. The fore part lays out with 2 twin cabins and a large cabin with a double bed.

The engine room uses the total width of the boat. It will be mechanized with 2 X Cummins of 250Hp and the electricity will be supplied by 2 X generators.

The outside salon, accessible from the dining salon through the glassed door, has direct access to the transom. The flybridge can facilitate a small dinghy and a 5.5 M inflatable tender dedicated to expeditions and both launchable using a hydraulic crane.

The inside layout of Dick Young Designs would be of a modern and refined style. The furniture will be light French oak and enhanced by US walnut. The finishing details will be leather and polished stainless steel.
