I recruited some help on Sunday to wax. "The boat doesn't seem this big in the water!!" We all know that doing it ourselves!! Still a decent shine on her 30 year old bones.

To a Post or ot a Post

Ok we've all been speculating, has someone come up with a definitive answer? It has the bridge roof of a late model Egg, but not the bow trim. The bow trim actually resembles a concord but we all know thats impossible. The Front bench seat on a Post can be ordered without from the factory. But its not a Post. Wrong roof. Roof is an Egg roof, But its not an Egg, Topaz, no, not big enough. . Im going out on a limb here, but I think its a Davis. Buddy Davis. They were purchased by Dr. Ira M. Trocki a few years back, now part of his unbelievable rise and savior to not only Egg, but Buddy Davis and many others. This beauty has the earmarks of many of our past heroes, and follows allot of there traditional lines. It could be Ray Davis, but I dont know what happened to him
Anyway, Its gorgeous, and I hope its been saved. Mine on the other hand, is lost forever, with much of my hart

Guys - I had been meaning to post this pic of "MoonShine II" coming into Clearwater Pass a few months back to watch the Clearwater Powerboat Races. A helicopter had approached and circled us, and it was clear that she was taking pictures of us?? I looked it up and was a company called BoatPix.com and I was able to purchase all the pics they took. They're getting framed and mounted for my office!

I bought him lunch after all that wiping off!! Does that help with the labor dept :)

I use a Sears polisher to put the wax on and get all the dirt off. My arms would never survive applying by hand. I gave up years ago with Collinite and expensive marine waxes. Too hard to wipe off. Just use Meguiars liquid cleaner wax from the auto store\Target. Easy on and off, cheaper and lasts about the same. Did the hull in 4 hours so not that bad.

Eddie - nice shots from BoatPix.

Garrbo - my vote is a 38 Topaz

First time Boat pix flew over us in NY Harbor their small helicopter came in low up my wake. We all thought we were about to get machine gunned!

Beau - we thought the same thing....it came at us low across the water. Pretty intimidating because it was a kinda "Black Op's" looking helicopter! LOL....but we appreciate the pics that they took!

At Anchor In Harbour Island, Bahamas

Just celebrated our 25th Anniversary in Harbour Island. This is our Post 50 "OFF DUTY" at anchor after dropping everyone on the beach for some swimming and snorkeling. Heading back to Greenport, NY for the summer sometime next week.

    Ha, ....ditto.

I know you need the functionality of the crane on the foredeck but it looks better w/o them.
    Still, I'd take her...:)
