Well, I always like the old Hubert or Morten Johnson ( Johnson Brothers) Black Jack sea skiffs, all in black hull, white water line , green bottom. Was a really sharp look. But it also had teak decks and a varnished interior and trim. Which I think helps balance the black paint. Not sure it would work so well on a black hull/ white decks and superstructure...to much black and white, no buffer color to help it flow together. IMO. Oscarvan! is that your 53' Hatteras ??
Here we get the beauty of both seasons- as hot as Florida in the summer, and as cold as Maine in the winter...
For what it’s worth, I always thought the Cheoy Lee Midnight Lace looks good with it’s black hull and cream paint / varnished top side.
