jep - that little freighter is 84m and was doing 12kn as al mirqab(133m) was doing 20kn

i think this one is really some big wave generator...

    Brunick,

Sorry for being one step behind (this time of the year, we're all a bit busy)
What I was trying to say is that Kusch yachts have a 'Look' as they say in Cosmo. Having worked on three and built two with Klaus you can see the hand of the Master at work

    Regards

Wow, so many people from northern Germany here....enough motivation to register myself :)

She´s in Eckernförde right now? Where exactly? Though I think it will be impossible not seeing her because of her size. Hopefully I can make it to Eckernförde on Saturday, maybe she will be there.

Brunick, you made some really nice photos, thanks for that.

ALMIRQAB seems very close to completion at the moment. She has her side nameplates, glass railings, cap rails, stainless railings, funnel plate, tent awnings on the stern are in place. However, she still was flying the German Flag from her stern so she hasn't been handed over as yet.

i can confirm that, since i've been to brunsbüttel 2 weeks ago
i took some picture, but i don't think i'll publish them, she's expected to be handed over for these days, i've been told it should've been today, maybe tomorrow - i guess in maximum of 2-4 weeks shes underway to the meds with the new owner, then we'll see some more pictures with all her toys :)

Nice shot. I recently learned that there is an Al Mirqab III. A Mangusta 165. Quite a nice fleet.
