    Hello,

    I am searching for a permanent captain for a 42m yacht. The yacht is planning to be in the med yearly from April to October and in the Gulf region from Nov to March.

    Vessel over 500 GRT
    42 meters
    Looking for a captain with good experience
    Good management skill for a yacht of this size
    Captain with a yachting partner will also be considered
    Captain over 45 years preferred

    Salary offered: Approx $8500

    Jobs in Dubai

    Be careful with Crew Jobs in Dubai at the moment.
    I placed several Captains on different Yachts there and all of them quit the Job due to different financial problems of Owners in 1-3 month.
    Check if you will be only one with experience on board or if you only will have Indian and Pakistani Crew to assist you.

    Well put.

    There are also a number of instance where the terms and conditions change after the "successful" candidate has relocated.

    I also think that a few of the previously advertised positions on YF for Dubai based things have been purely an information gathering exercise.

    To anyone applying- Be very careful about sending copies of your Certificates to any of these advertisers at the outset.

    Welcome to YF.

    When replying to an advert you should use the PM or E Mail Function or you are very likely to receive a lot more calls and e mails ( Spam)than you ever though possible and none of them will be offering you the job of your dreams, although they will no doubt be offering you a lot of other things :)
