  1. Cannes Yachting Festival; Opening Day
Today the 2026 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival got underway and one of the first news items to emerge from the start of the show came from the Ferretti Group with the announcement of the brand new INFYNITO 100 model. This would be the third and largest model in the INFYNITO series so far slotting in above the INFYNITO 80 and 90 models.
  2. Ferretti Group made the announcement on the opening day and provided some exterior imagery of the vessel. However, the first hull itself will not be available until 2027. At the time when the INFYNITO range was unveiled to the world in 2022 it was described as having models spanning the 70 to 100-foot mark. Now that the latest launch has materialized, INFYNITO started with the 90-foot model and then launched the 80-foot model making their debuts at the Cannes Yachting Festival Shows in 2023 and 2024 respectively. Now the 100-foot model has been unveiled. For the two previous models the design language was formulated by Filippo Salvetti for the exterior and interiors by Ideaeitalia. The design for the 100-foot model has not be confirmed by Ferretti Group.
  3. The Swan 80 in the form of the newly delivered "Elvi" (launched in June, 2026) has made her world debut at the show this morning. The 25.55-meter yacht is part of the new Swan Maxi range and picks up where the Swan 78 left off. Micheletti + Partners is responsible for the exterior design of the Swan 80 while the interiors is the work of Misa Poggi. Naval Architecture is not surprisingly from German Frers. In fact, this same trio is behind a few recent models from the yard. The current Swan 80 was actually first announced at the 2023 edition of Cannes Yachting Festival and now making its debut at the 2026 edition.
  4. It is believed that Elvi has a 4 cabin layout on her lower deck comprising of the master suite, VIP and two other guest cabins. Crew cabins are located aft to keep the separation of crew spaces and work away from the guest domain. The interior by Misa Poggi focuses on lighter coloured woods and natural lighting coming in from skylights and large side windows.
  5. Itama announced the new Itama 80 yacht with some visuals of the design giving viewers and the market an idea how the yard is penning the new vessel. It is interesting as the yard has the Itama 70 premiering at the 2026 show and the 80 being announced at the same show. The Itama 80 is in the works and will launch in 2027 and naturally will be presented and debut at the 2027 edition of the show. Besides the extra length and space onboard one of the key differences is the substantial hardtop.
  6. Sunseeker also made an announcement for the Manhattan 80 which is a model name the yard had before but for the contemporary times, they are calling the new model the Manhattan 80 MK2. It will be having a 5-cabin layout and the first hull is expected to be live in 2029. Despite having a similar model name the new Manhattan 80 MK 2 has a more dense layout with the 5 cabins vs the 3 the original Manhattan 80 came with in the 1990s.
