Sunday i went for second shot on a VERY cold sunday
Strange how much people work on sunday; not only Oceanco but their neighbours were working as well;
anyway; Amevi back from Rotterdam and as you can see; she's got her mast!
for the creative among you; you can stitch the first 4 pictures together as a panoramic picture
Even when in the water; she's still immense.
I had a look at the 702 earlier and there are quite a few similarities.
The mast; must be about 8 mtrs, packed with the usual mushrooms and radars.
Not sure where the door go's into in the base of the mast
here are another 5 panoramic pictures
note the spotlights at the bottom of the lifeboat-cradles
and nr 3
note the reflection of the water in the hull;
you'll notice that the waterexhaust is still above the waterline; no fluids in the hull yet
btw, stationed in Douglas as you can see here
another shot of her mast, still without the door
ane of the carpenters entering Amevi;
note the classy blue carpet
he enters to the left where theres a stairway as well as a door into the hull on the right
note that all the roofs still have to be fitted
closeup on the roof work
closeup of the waterexhaust
nice door mechanism on the door to the wheelhouse
and an open door one floor below
one of 2 electricians looking af a lot of work
even the bulbous bow still halfway out of the water
