Two New Wider Models Announced Wider Yachts recently announced two new models at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS), the Wider 180 and the smaller 41-meter Wider 135. The larger Wider 180 which will become the yard's flagship when completed in 2022 is designed by Andrea Vallicelli and C Yacht Design. Comparing this model to the other two (bigger motoryachts) this yard has in service, there is a slight departure in styling. Wider Yachts pride themselves on having a yacht that could transform itself by extending its deck space outward with fold-out terraces and balconies and expansive beach clubs/tender garages. The larger they build, the less impactful this design philosophy will become and we think this is starting to happen. Wider Yachts expect to start steel cutting for the hull at the start of 2020. True to expectations, there is a large beach club onboard which hosts a tender up to 10-meters. When not in use, the tender dock converts into a swimming pool much like on their past vessels. Other features include, electric propulsion, a gym, a spa, a large sundeck with bar, kitchenette and alfresco dining.
