  1. Two New Wider Models Announced
Wider Yachts recently announced two new models at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS), the Wider 180 and the smaller 41-meter Wider 135. The larger Wider 180 which will become the yard's flagship when completed in 2022 is designed by Andrea Vallicelli and C Yacht Design. Comparing this model to the other two (bigger motoryachts) this yard has in service, there is a slight departure in styling. Wider Yachts pride themselves on having a yacht that could transform itself by extending its deck space outward with fold-out terraces and balconies and expansive beach clubs/tender garages. The larger they build, the less impactful this design philosophy will become and we think this is starting to happen. Wider Yachts expect to start steel cutting for the hull at the start of 2020. True to expectations, there is a large beach club onboard which hosts a tender up to 10-meters. When not in use, the tender dock converts into a swimming pool much like on their past vessels. Other features include, electric propulsion, a gym, a spa, a large sundeck with bar, kitchenette and alfresco dining.
  2. The other model released was the Wider 135, much smaller in scale even than their last launch, the Wider 165 Project "Cecilia". They appear to have done-away with the touch-and-go helipad facet on the other models too as the 180 and the 135 does not feature this. Centro Stile Wider is the design of the Wider 135. Key features include, what they term as a beach club, the side aft bulwarks fold down to further open the space and the deck is fitted with outdoor furniture. There is also a small infinity-edge pool/jacuzzi in the space.
