News: Vripack-Designed 37M "Seven Seas" Launched

Vripack Studio is celebrating the launch of their designed 37-meter expedition-styled yacht called "Seven Seas". The yacht packs alot into her 120-foot frame being a pocket-sized explorer boat imagined on a grand scale. As the sixth collaboration between Dutch firm Vripack and Turkish shipyard RMK Marine, the steel-hulled yacht is intended for long-range, super-efficient cruising.

Construction on this yacht commenced back in 2020. The displacement yacht has its design by Vripack while the other aspects are the yard's work. The actual length is stated as 36.86-meters with a beam of 8.7-meters and a draft of 2.65-meters. Top speed with her pair of CAT C32 diesels should be around 14-knots. Construction has been made in steel for the hull and aluminium for the superstructure.

The vessel was envisioned to sleep up to 12 persons but it appears that she has a 5 cabin layout for 10 guests and 7 crew members. Internal volume is estimated to be approximately 395 GT. Three internal decks are available to guest use along with the open-air sun deck. The sun deck is divided into two spaces the the forward portion being the main guest area and the aft section for tender storage. A crane system is installed for handling of the yachts tenders.

The expedition styled yacht has been finished in a traditional paint scheme with a dark full and contrasting white superstructure. Even though she is meant for expedition travel this yacht is still a luxury platform that will win its guests over with ample al-fresco deck spaces and comfortable interiors. Seven Seas will be making her world debut at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) in September.
