One of the latest developments at Vicem Yachts is the Vicem 67 Cruiser. The yard recently released more details about this craft. It will be built using the same cold molded mahogany technology they have been using for more than twenty years. High load areas of the yacht are reinforced with carbon fiber. The vessel is good for long self sustained cruising and has been give the CE Design Category 'A' rating.

Onboard you will find accommodation for six guests in a three-cabin layout. The yard is suggesting there are two master suites, one midship which will take advantage of the full 18.1-foot beam and the other is towards the bow. The other cabin is is a double and located to the starboard side. Contrary to the model's name (Vicem 67 Cruiser), the yacht is not 67-feet long but actually nearly 71-feet long.

Power will come via a pair of 600 horsepower Volvo Penta D8's which will be the standard propulsion we expect. However, there are optional power selections available. A pair of more powerful 725 horsepower Volvo Penta D11 or 900 horsepower D13s from Volvo Penta are on offer. With the standard 600HP D8's the boat could do 20-knots easily and fast cruise at 16-knots. For more efficient and range-stretching speeds, 8-knots is recommended for a 2,000-plus nautical mile range with capacity to store up to 8,000 LT of fuel in her tanks.
