  1. Van den Hoven Executive 1500 MK2 Takes To The Water
Back in mid-April, Dutch yard Van den Hoven launched their third Executive 1500 MK2 right after their open day. It launched with an ice blue colour hull and contrasting white low profile superstructure. Remember these vessels are ideal for traversing the tight waterways around Europe that are also restricted by low canal bridges and walk overs. The design is by John van Leeuwen and follows the design philosophy incorporated on some of the yards other model mates.
  2. The vessel appears to be called "La Fine Fleur" and is fitting because it gives that feeling of being atop this size bracket in the market. Onboard you will only find a couple cabins naturally because of the size. On the lower deck there can be a three cabin layout. Van den Hoven gives you the option of removing the third cabin and replacing it with a large walk-in closet.
  3. Below deck you will find a pair of Volvo Penta D4 engines each rated at 225 horse power. Efficient engines that give decent consumption and range from fuel capacity of 2,200 LT. 1,350 LT of fresh water can be stored onboard as well. The overall length of the 1500 MK2 is 14.99-meters with a beam of 4.78-meters and a draft of 1.40-meters. The overall clearance height is 3.45-meters.
