30-meter Explorer Commences Construction In Turkey

A new builder is on the yacht scene and it is coming from Turkey. V For Explorer Luxury Yachts maybe new to building yachts but their business in the charter arena is more solidified with the company V For Blue Exclusive Yacht Charter. The new company was at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival. Now they have dipped their feet into the yacht-building waters with a 30-meter Explorer new build called "Victorious".

The yacht has been under construction for a few months now having started with the keel-laying back in July. The exterior and internal design has been kept in-house with V For Explorer Yachts. Guest and owner accommodation onboard is spread across three decks. The owner/master suite is on the main deck while the VIP is located on the upper/bridge deck. Two twins and two doubles are on the lower deck rounding out accommodations for twelve.

Victorious will be powered by Two D2676 marine diesels assuming these are from MAN. Top speed is expected to be 14-knots with a cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10-knots. By this time next year Victorious should be delivered to her owner and mark the first completed yacht for this new company. There are four decks, three internal and an open smaller deck primarily for navigating with the secondary helm position.
