Evo Yachts EVO 43 Expands Before Your Eyes​

The EVO 43 is one small day cruiser that aims to be sleek, stylish, comfortable and functional. Being small is not necessarily always a negative thing. Sure space is always at a premium but at the touch of a button on an iPad, the EVO 43 can expand her aft sides creating the illusion of more space. The physical footprint does expand versus what it is when retracted. When at anchor this feature will come in handy.

This Italian yard is a very young company, only establishing itself around 2015. The EVO 43 has quickly become quite recognizable since its introduction. The design inside and out is by Studio Tecnico Rivellini. The yacht's aft main deck area is where all the action is. We have hinted at the expanding sides that jettison in approximately 30 secs from the command of an app on an iPad or iPhone but these are not the only moving parts. The deck hides built-in deck chairs that can come up from the deck and then just be outfitted with the sitting upholstery. There are two of these hidden lounge chairs in the deck. If you do not want them you can fold them back down as they run flush with the deck when not in use. The area can be outfitted with ottomans, bean bags, poufs, sunpads, anything to the guests delight.

There is a built-in ladder in the swim platform that can serve multiple purposes. It can be utilized as a boarding ladder or it can be lowered into the water to provide a submerged platform for guests to sit on or easily access the water. This 13-meter yacht can run up to 38-knots and fast cruise at 30-knots. She is powered by a pair of Volvo Penta IPS drives and the range is in the region of 300 nautical miles. Somehow they have managed to fit two cabins onboard below decks but the yacht can take 10 to 12 persons on deck as a day cruiser.
