News: Tecnomar Completes First Evo 120 "Chao Yono"

Many would have seen a striking new vessel outside of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) last week and were perhaps unable to identify her. The yacht is the recently completed EVO 120 from Tecnomar. The vessel was completed very quietly as there was no press releases about the vessel released but it was unveiled at a private event at the Italian Sea Group just before the start of the MYS.

The vessel's name is "Chao Yono" and was built in all-aluminium to a design by Gian Marco Campanino and she represents the first completed hull in that new EVO 120 line. The line doesn't stop there as the yard announced a few months ago that they secured the sale of the second unit which is expected to be completed at the end of the last quarter of 2019.

Chao Yono has two internal decks and an open sun deck. The accommodation appears to be all on the lower deck with three guest cabins and a full-beam master suite. This 36.6-meter vessel will be the only one built in aluminium but the rest of the EVO range are being built in composite. The new EVO range consists of vessels from 55, 100, 120 Tri and 130HT. According to Tecnomar, the power onboard is supplied by a pair of MTU 12V 2000 M96L's. Top speed is 22-knots with 15,000 LT fuel capacity.
