  1. 42-meter E-Volution Sloop Splashes In Technical Launch
Around the same time over the weekend Perini Navi launched two vessels. The first was the 25.5-meter ECO-tender built for an experienced owner who also happens to own a 52-meter Perini and the other was the 42-meter E-Volution sloop. However, this was the technical launch for the 42-meter sloop as she won't be completed fully until 2020. The vessel was sold to an owner in July of 2018 and the concept was announced at the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).
  2. The new E-Volution is part of a new offering from Perini Navi. This vessel of course based on the name has several environmentally friendly characteristics. Firstly, she is going to be using a hybrid-electric drivetrain. When necessary you can cruise silently with little impact to the surroundings and of course onboard too -in terms of noise levels-. She will also be able to sail up to 3,200 nautical miles at a continuous 10-knots with around 20,000 LT of fuel in her tanks. Of course as a sailing vessel, sailing will make up a large component of her mode of travel and therefore the range can be extended by sailing alone.
  3. Up to ten guests can be slept onboard if necessary although the regular layout calls for four cabins, one cabin is just forward of the engine room, while two more are available and the master suite is for the owner towards the aft. The fifth optional cabin is located where they plan to use as a small cinema. That room can be converted when needed. Extensive glass work is used throughout the superstructure making the saloon below a naturally-lit cosy space.
