News: Second Burger 180 In Build

In March YF alerted you to the build of the Burger 180 or 55-meter here https://www.yachtforums.com/threads/news-burger-announces-55m-in-build-superyacht.37112/ . However, there is a second Burger 180 currently in build as well. The first hull was sold in 2021 but the second hull is available for purchase. With the first hull sold, it is anticipated to be completed and delivered in 2024. The superstructure has already been mated with the hull. The second hull also has its design by Gregory C Marshall.

At this stage we do not know full specifics as there is no owner onboard as yet for the second hull but we can give guidance on the Burger 180 model itself. There are a pair of CAT 3512C Tier II marine diesels onboard which can give this vessel a range of 4,000 nautical miles if dialed back to 11-knots but we can expect a top-end close to 16-knots. Customization can still be done at this stage of the build.

The first hull will be providing accommodations for up to 10 guests with a master suite situated on the forward main deck and guests staying on the lower deck in four cabins that all can be connected to each other. This allows them to be converted into two large family-style suites if the need arises. The first hull has a large pool on the aft sun deck which can be partitioned into a hot tub and pool at the same time or be left as a pool. There is a dedicated bar midships on the sundeck under the hardtop. It is not clear if any of these features will also be designed into the second hull by default.
