  1. "Fifty" Launches In Italy At Riva
The second hull in the new 50-meter model from Italian yard Riva has hit the water today. She is called "Fifty" and has similar paint and finish work as the first hull in the model, named "Race". The design internally and externally is by Officina Italiana Design. Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi said, "Fifty is the demonstration that we Italians know how to imagine and realize masterpieces like no one else in the world. And at this difficult time, my thanks goes to everyone whose skills and efforts have helped build this magnificent ship." There is a third hull that is currently under construction at the yard expected to be completed in 2022.
  2. Fifty is powered by dual MTU 8V 4000 M63s which are anticipated to allow a top speed of 15-knots as well as 11-knot cruising. With 48,000 LT of fuel onboard the cruising range should be in the region of 3,500 nautical miles. The interior volume should be just shy of the 500GT mark (498GT). Fifty can sleep up to twelve (12)guests in six (6) cabins while up to nine (9) crew can be onboard. Race was the first metal-built boat made by Riva launched back in 2019. Below is an image of Race at launch where you can see the similarities to the newest launch of the class, Fifty.
