  1. Leapher Yachts Commences Build On Project 'Lazarus'
Leapher Yachts jumps into the spotlight with the revelation of three new models to the market. This is a brand new company that just opened its doors and are offering three explorer type yachts to the market. The first is a 1,710 GT 60.5-meter which has already been sold to a customer and had its keel laid today. The second is another 60-meter but with significantly less interior volume at 1,000 GT. The third is a smaller 48-meter coming in under 500GT.
  2. As for the 1,710 GT vessel currently under construction that is expected to be delivered with a 2.5 year turn around with the shipyard aiming for October 2025. Speaking of shipyard, Leapher is located in the Netherlands, interestingly occupying the site of another yard that previously built small/pocket cruise ships and river cruise ships. That facility used to be occupied by DeHoop Shipyard who some of you may know built small cruise ships like the "Celebrity Flora" and "Silver ORIGIN".
  3. The 60.5-meter yacht has its exterior and interior design drawn by Cor d Rover. Renderings are already available allowing us to glimpse what this new yacht from this new yard is going to look like. Special facets and features about 'Lazarus' include tender storage for two 9.5-meter tenders, capacity for helicopter operations, Polar 1C classification (which should allow it to venture into extreme latitude coordinates of the world). With an autonomy above 40 days Project Lazarus will be able to cater to as many 14 guests on these extended passages. Although it will be oriented towards expeditions the vessel will still carry many staple luxury touches like a wellness area that comprises of a Sauna and gym space. There is even a proper beach club facility. Diving room and mud-room help prepare guests for their adventure onshore or below the surface.
