Pershing Unveils New Pershing 140 Design​

Italian yacht manufacturer Pershing has taken the drapes off their largest model yet, the Pershing 140. To be honest, it represents a departure from the regular design of 'Pershing' performance yachts in their line. The build will be of aluminium -different from composite boats they are accustomed to building-. For this reason perhaps, the 140 is expected to be built at CRN, their sister brand in the Ferretti Group. The bow design is a major change as well -just look at the renders-. The design is by the regular Fulvio De Simoni who is the staple designer at Pershing.

The stern/transom area is also very different to previous Pershing models. Port, starboard and aft feature fold-down doors that form terraces on the sea and expand the beautiful beachclub when at anchor. When the ocean is this close to you, an easy dive off any of the platforms makes entry seamless for a quick cool-off. Retractable automatic stairs jettison from the swim platform to help you climb aboard after your swim. Since the first hull is still available for sale, the interior is probably opened to customization. Four guest cabins are situated on the lower deck while the owner has a full-beam master suite forward on the main deck. It is a Pershing despite its radical differing DNA but it won't be short on performance. She should easily be a 30+-knot boat even in the 40-knot range as suggested by the Head at the Ferretti Group, Stefano de Vivo.
