  1. 25.5-meter ECO Tender Launches At Perini Navi
Perini Navi recently launched the new 25.5-meter ECO tender. This is the yacht that is envisioned to be a large chase tender to the new Perini Navi 42.2-meter E-volution sloop. However, this first unit is going to provide role to an owner who has a 52-meter Perini Navi sailing vessel. The ECO tender is called that name because she is as efficient and environmentally friendly as it goes without going all electric. The vessel does carry a diesel-electric setup. Hamilton waterjets are linked to two 1,627 horse power engines which should allow this craft to see a 30-knot top end.
  2. Running at a sedate 8-knots continuously would allow the yacht to roam for 1,000 nautical miles. However, for what the owner wants to use her for, that is more than enough capability and endurance. The hybrid propulsion system utilized allows for four modes of operation. One of them is zero-emissions mode which essentially would have the tender cruising slowly with no noise or emissions which is great for marine conservation or marine parks and other fragile areas.
  3. The yacht is anticipated to be delivered to her experienced owner by April after intensive sea trials have satisfied all involved. Onboard she can accommodate up to six guests in a three-cabin layout. There is a VIP-grade cabin that is full-beam, a double and a bunk-style cabin. Even though she is a large tender, the overall appearance of the vessel still allows the 'Perini Navi look'. "The classic exterior styling of the Eco-tender shares the same family feeling as Perini Navi’s historic sailing fleet, right down to the dark blue hull and red load line," commented Lamberto Tacoli, Chairman and CEO of Perini Navi. It is truly a one-of-a kind vessel and Perini Navi can be proud of this build.
