  1. 26.2-meter Power Cat By Pachoud Yachts Nearing Completion
New Zealand based yacht builder Pachoud Yachts is finishing up construction on the 26.2-meter power cat "Rua Moana". The yacht is anticipated to hit the water next month ahead of preparation for sea trials and subsequent delivery. One of the interesting features is regarding the jacuzzi. Many yachts carry jacuzzi tubs but it is the placement of this one that is different. It is on the bow between the two hulls. The area is shared by a large sun-bedded region and can be converted to serve multiple uses.
  2. On the interior Rua Moana will play host to up to eight guests in four cabins. Three of them will feature king-sized berths as well as ensuite facilities. The other room is naturally the master suite which is located towards the front of the hulls but bridges the space between them and encompasses the full beam. Full beam on this yacht is actually 9.5-meters and she only draws 1.5-meters of water.
  3. Other areas onboard for relaxation include the aft beach club which is essentially supported by a movable platform. There are generously proportioned outdoor areas, which include a submersible beach platform at the stern as mentioned. Power comes via two 966 horse power MTU 8V 2000 engines. Thanks to her efficient hulls this power is enough to permit fast cruising speeds of 18 to 2o-knots with a top speed of 22-knots. Fuel capacity is 22,000 LT.
