Ocean King Unveils Ducale 88 Model

Back in June YF alerted you to the Ocean King Ducale 118 Explorer. The Italian yard has now unveiled another size variant in the Ducale line, the 88 Ducale. It will be completed in megayacht finishes and styling according to the yard. Both exterior and design styling was done by VYD Studio with Naval Architecture by Innave Studio.

Dual MAN D2868 LE421 441kW engines will power the Ducale 88 and a modest top speed of 11.5-knots is expected. This is a slow cruiser with the ability to give great range in exchange. Most Ocean King yachts have ocean crossing range and for the 88 Ducale this is no problem. Five cabins are penned to be onboard to accommodate ten guests. The overall interior volume is 218GT.

With alot of trawler/expedition yards building in this size bracket it is indeed a competitive area for Ocean King but one that they are determined to excel in.
