French yacht manufacturer Ocea used the just concluded 2016 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) to unveil their most sophisticated yacht to-date. The 55-meter 'Oceanemo' was introduced to the yachting industry during the show on September 30th with smart design lines by Fulvio de Simoni. There is the Oceanemo series already comprises of a 33-meter and a 44-meter model and now the 55-meter joins the new line of yachts to form a trio.

The Oceanemo series is a line of Sport Utility Yachts (SUY) conceived for owners who want the exploration life but not wanting to sacrifice the lavish lifestyle onboard. Fulvio de Simoni said; "it’s probably one of the most beautiful and smartest boats I've ever designed," said De Simoni. "Obviously, the judgment is subjective, but, from a design point of view, I find that the volumes and the unusual shapes that characterize the 55 are perfectly in harmony with each other and certainly advantage this great yacht!" Onboard, the aft main deck is open and clear to house and store a myriad of toys and tenders however the owner wishes to configure. The renders showcase the possibilities from RIB tenders to a submarine, amphibious aircraft and numerous inflatable toys to a versatile sport fishing craft. Over 65 sq meters is devoted to the owner's private quarters and the living spaces onboard are grand across her six-deck layout. The idea is to have her operated with hybrid forms of power and upon request, can be equipped with a hybrid power train and diesel or electric motors.
