  1. Ocea Yachts Reveal The Nautilus 45
French manufacturer Ocea Yachts revealed their new Nautilus 45 design emphasizing its endurance capabilities; the yacht that goes further. Philippe Briand is responsible for the Naval Architecture while the design is by Vitruvius. It is designed to take you to as many locales as possible. Who has never dreamed of arriving in a remote bay, near the poles where the ice cap crowds the shore? Or getting as close as possible to the lush vegetation of a tropical mangrove? Distant coastlines often provide incredible sights for those who can reach them.
  2. At 45-meters LOA, and a beam of 9.15-meters with a draft under 2.50-meters, the Nautilus 45 is set to take its guests to far flung destinations. A 4,000 nautical mile range at a continuous 12-knots does help in achieving this. Top speed is carded to be 16-knots however, at this stage Ocea did not provide engine type of specs. The Nautilus 45 will be equipped with two 8-meter tenders. Those are pretty long tenders on a yacht of this size. They store them on the aft main deck and once launched they can utilize a fold down shell door to aid in boarding.
  3. Onboard there are sufficient cabins to sleep twelve guests and up to seven or eight crew can be accommodated. A full-beam master suite is available on the forward main deck while five other large cabins are reserved for the guests. Efficiency is achieved through the use of OCEA's favorite material, aluminum, which makes it possible to design a lighter, more economical, faster yacht that can go further without refueling.
