  1. First Hybrid-Solar 26XP Delivered By Numarine
This delivery from Numarine's flourishing 26XP line might be their 12th unit overall but it marks the first hybrid-solar specimen. The exterior is still designed by Can Yalman and looks the same way as the standard 26XP but the keen eye will notice the extra-long hardtop on the aft of the radar arch. This is where the Solar theme in this particular unit comes alive or even electrified because it is the location for the photovoltaic panels. This is the only real visual differentiating feature over the regular 26XP.
  2. The benefits of the hybrid-solar setup on the 26XP include the extra free power that can be created from the renewable resource. In fact, the solar-powered rig can generate as much as 7,530 watts of power. This is linked to a generator that is then sent to extra lithium batteries onboard. According to the founder and Chairman of Numarine, Omer Malaz, her new owners intend to "operate her fully functioning without any generator power during the day." Like the other 26XPs though range is not much of an issue once you can afford to cruise economically over longer periods. For example, at continuous 8-knots in ideal conditions this vessel could allow for a 3,000 nautical mile range. Top speed with her MAN engines should be 13-knots. Hull 12 has a four-cabin layout for the accommodation of eight (8) guests. Below is a look at the regular Numarine 26XP.
