  1. 59' Pilothouse By North Pacific Yachts
The 49 Euro pilothouse has been the talk-of-the-docks for people interesting in North Pacific Yachts (NPY) offerings. However the 49 Euro pilothouse isn't their flagship anymore, the 59 pilothouse has taken over that honor and on the builder's website, the actual LOA of this new vessel is actually 61.4-feet. 18.4-feet is the beam overall offering a roomy abode onboard this 46.2 GT vessel. The draft is minimal only drawing 5.4-feet of water.
  2. Onboard power will be provided by dual Cummins QSM 11 715 HP 2600 rpm engines which are anticipated to provide a 16.5 or 17-knot top end. At around 1,600 rpm the 59' pilothouse can cruise at 10-knots comfortably. Onboard fuel storage amounts to approximately 8,200 LT. Fresh water capacity is 400 GAL or 1,818 LT and the holding tank is 150 GAL/682 LT. In terms of accommodation, the standard layout will be built out with a three-cabin arrangement all on the lower deck. The master is located midships and along with the ensuite head it stretches the full beam. There is a twin cabin as well as a V-berth double forward.
  3. Outdoor dwelling consists of a small cockpit area, both aft and fore on the main deck, but heading up to the flybridge offers more space and a better view. The secondary helm position is located forward ad the social area is comprised of U-shaped seating with a table for alfresco-style dining, as well as a small bar. The aft section is dedicated to tender storage. A davit system is on hand to help with the launching and recovery of that tender and other toys. It isn't just the 59 they offer, NPY also builds recreational trawler yachts between 44 and 61.5-feet.
