Dominator Yachts has a new yacht currently under construction. It is called the 42-meter Ilumen and is expected to have the name "Peppermint" when completed. Alberto Mancini is responsible for both the exterior and interior design of this new Dominator trideck. The sleek design will be available in displacement hull configuration or semi-displacement.

The new new model is tailored for the charter market or private owner use. If an owner should request, there is provision for a touch-and-go helipad on the bow. Ordinarily the area will have a jacuzzi and ample seating on the sides. A hardtop embedded with a fabric membrane is there to provide the sundeck with protection from the sun and rain. The fabric should be able to slide back with the touch of a button when the weather permits. The al-fresco dining/breakfast table is also on the sun deck under the hardtop and there is plenty of space aft to sip on a cocktail and enjoy bar-bites.

The Dominator Yachts 42 Ilumen will carry six cabins for the owner and guests which means she is a twelve-guest yacht. Up to seven crew members can also be slept on board. Mancini has replicated the owner's desire for world travel having each deck represent themes from different parts of the world. The owner's abode is something special, stretching the full-beam of the yacht and dominated by large side windows and it appears that the jacuzzi above has a glass bottom which allows light to filter into the room from above. The decor from Mancini is a sophisticated contemporary vibe on all decks even though inspiration has been taken from areas the owner have visited around the world.
