Mulder Technically Launches 8th - ThirtySix Hull

The technical launch of the eighth Mulder ThirtySix hull has taken place. Although this yacht looks similar to other ThirtySix model members like "Solemates" and "Seaflower", there are going to be some differences on this build. The semi-custom yacht offers "more flexibility" whilst still maintaining the all-important Mulder DNA," according to Mulder.

Van Oossanen Naval Architects is responsible for the calculations of the eighth hull while Claydon Reeves is representing on the exterior design. Dual CAT 1,150 horse power engines will be fitted to the vessel and those are expected to provide the 36-meter vessel with a top speed of 17-knots and a cruising speed of 15-knots.

On the interior there will be room enough to sleep up to 10 guests in a five cabin layout which will be including a spacious master suite, two VIP-category cabins as well as two convertible cabins for flexibility in guest operations. The design for the interior on the renderings suggest a beach-house inspiration with Oak timbers playing off creams of upholstery.

The exterior deck spaces are also important and the sun deck is one of those important spaces central to this. Below the rendering illustrates how this space will come together on the eighth hull. A jacuzzi takes up the aft part of the deck and is flanked by a layout pad on the aft end and a 4-place bar on the forward end. Under the hardtop there is cabinetry and seating for guests. The eighth hull is expected to be delivered in October, 2024.
