News: Mag Bay Yachts Working On Mag Bay 38

Mag Bay 38 Coming In Late 2024

You may be accustomed to Mag Bay Yachts building the 33, 42 and 43 CC models but they are presently working on a model to bridge the gap, the Mag Bay 38. In a social media post, Mag Bay suggested they were anxiously awaiting the hull plug for the 38 to arrive so they can detail it for the mould. The plug showcases a double-stepped hull.

The Mag Bay 38 is based on the same hull design (Steve Matthews) of the highly successful 43 Center Console. When completed, customers will be able to look forward to mating this center console with either twin Mercury Marine Verado 600's or triple V10 400's. As the final tolerances are made and testing is done the top speed with each variant will be known.

Despite being a bit smaller than the 43 CC, the 38 gives customers more options as it fits right between the 33 and the 42 models that Mag Bay produces. The 38 is expected to hold around 600 GAL (2,271 LT ) of fuel and 284 LT of fresh water. Combining the strong fishability of the hull and the fluid capacity onboard means the customer can stay on the fishing ground for longer. It is still a spacious vessel with a 38-foot LOA and a 11-foot beam. Mag Bay is aiming to get this vessel on the market for late 2024 or early 2025.
