Van der Valk 30-meter Explorer Design Dutch yard Van der Valk and Guido de Groot have teamed up on a 30-meter design for an explorer type yacht which essentially looks nothing more than a pocket megayacht. The term explorer should be utilized lightly here but the agility of this vessel should be noted with spritely speeds using a fast displacement hull. Her overall looks have been kept to a minimum thanks to a low profile lending to a sleeker appearance. She doesn't rise much higher than two decks with the navigational area being of the raised pilothouse configuration. It also allows for ample space on the sundeck above which has a secondary navigation station, bar, al fresco dining, grill, space to lounge as well as space for the tender towards the aft of this deck.
