  1. King Cat 80 By Kingship Marine Splashed
The new yacht was built specifically for the Asian market and was designed by ER Yacht Design. The appeal specifically to the Hong Kong/Chinese region was apparent and the interior tells the story effectively about who the intended market is. The King Cat 80 was built in aluminium for the two hulls and satisfies Lloyd’s SSC stipulations as well as Chinese regulatory framework. Don't expect this vessel to be cruising on the open ocean though. The King Cat 80 is actually for inland cruising like on lakes and large rivers. Kingship Marine is endeavouring to create an ocean version of this model.
  2. The interior is Chinese inspired in decor while still having a contemporary flair. The wall art definitely is a nod to Chinese expression and culture. Being double-hulled, the interior spaces particularly on the main deck is vast. The formal dining table takes up just the center of the dining room leaving ample room on either side.
  3. With a pair of 300 horse power diesels, her top speed is actually just shy of the 20-knot barrier. She reportedly ran 19.5-knots under sea trial conditions. Despite not having very deep hulls nor sufficient protection from the open ocean the King Cat 80 will handle what quieter waters have to offer. The above example comes in a three-deck configuration but a client can choose from a two-deck layout as well.
